Checkout flow for users purchasing creator content and services
The Problem
Creators need a monetization experience for their audience that is fluid, easy to use, trust worth and connected to their experience with the creator with whom they have a relation or connection with. Re-directing users to 3rd party services like PayPal, Square, and even Stripe resulted in checkout experiences that a decent segment of creator audience members where not entirely willing to trust (depending on which 3rd party payment platform it was). In either, case, the UX experience was disjointed and not fluid.
My Role
Product design · Lead the research to get feedback from the previous checkout experience from users, wireframed and prototyped wireframes for testing with users before ultimately prototyping an even higher fidelity checkout experience that aimed to really create a fluid experience for creator fans purchasing a service, product or tipping their favorite creator.
